Dr. Gautham P. Reddy trained at Thomas Jefferson University and at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
Achievements:
Dr. Reddy is a Professor of Radiology, Vice Chair for Education, and Director of Thoracic Imaging at the University of Washington. Dr. Reddy's research has focused on cardiovascular imaging, including MRI assessment of physiology in congenital and acquired heart disease.

Dr. Gautham P. Reddy is a Professor of Radiology, Vice Chair for Education, and Director of Thoracic Imaging at the University of Washington. Dr. Reddy trained at Thomas Jefferson University and at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He served as Chief of Cardiac and Pulmonary Imaging and Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at UCSF. In 2008, he moved to the University of Washington. He lives in Seattle with his wife and two young sons. Dr. Reddy is the co-author of 100 scientific articles, reviews, and book chapters, as well as two textbooks and an educational CD. He has presented 450 lectures at international, national, and regional conferences, and he has received four teaching awards. Dr. Reddy's research has focused on cardiovascular imaging, including MRI assessment of physiology in congenital and acquired heart disease.
During his time as a Radiological Society of North America Scholar, he investigated coronary pathophysiology in myocardial diseases. He has also studied the use of coronary CT angiography and MR angiography in patients with ischemic disease. Dr. Reddy is the Deputy Editor of the Journal of Thoracic Imaging.
He serves on the boards of the Association of University Radiologists and the North American Society for Cardiovascular Imaging (NASCI), and on the Executive Committee of the Society of Thoracic Radiology. He is the Past President of the Alliance of Clinician-Educators in Radiology (ACER) and the Senior Faculty Advisor of the American Alliance of Academic Chief Residents in Radiology, and he has been appointed to the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Review Committee of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. He has served as Program Chair for NASCI, ACER, and the American Roentgen Ray Society Categorical Course.
