Aisling Chaney, PhD

Dr. Aisling Chaney attended Trinity College in Dublin Ireland for her undergraduate degree and then went on to earn her doctorate in neurosciences from the Imaging Sciences and Biomedical Engineering Center at the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. Dr. Aisling Chaney is currently an assistant professor of radiology and a principal investigator in the Precision Radio Theranostics Translation Center (PRTC) at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR). Her current research focuses on investigating biological immune responses in neurodegenerative disease.

She is a recipient of the following awards and acknowledgments:

Young Investigator Award from the World Molecular Imaging Congress (2019)

The Scholar Award from the Women in Molecular Imaging Congress (2019, 2020, 2021)

Alavi-Mandell Award from the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (2020)
